Atheist Defends Christianity against Islam Religion

Christianity compared to Islam

Kudos … to Newsweek
by Tim Wildmon
President, American Family Association

Ayaan Hirsi Ali

If there ever was a contrast in worldviews, it is with Christianity and Islam.

Yes. Kudos to Newsweek magazine for giving a cover story to a subject mostly under-reported by the mainstream media: the worldwide persecution of those who practice the Christian faith.
The cover for the February 13 issue reads: "The War on Christians." Inside, the article by Ayaan Hirsi Ali is headlined this way: "The rise of Christophobia: from one end of the Muslim world to the other, Christians are being murdered for their faith."

Ali goes into great detail with one horror story after another from around the world. Despite the promotion of political correctness in the United States, it is becoming clear to most Americans - at least those who are paying attention - that Islam in not a religion of peace.

It is, in fact, a religion of war, violence, intolerance and physical persecution of non-Muslims. These atrocities are being committed against Christians because they are considered infidels, and therefore it is a Muslim's duty to defeat the infidel - in any way necessary.

"We hear so often about Muslims as victims of abuse in the West and combatants in the Arab Spring's fight against tyranny," writes Ali. "But, in fact, a wholly different kind of war is under way - an unrecognized battle costing thousands of lives. Christians are being killed in the Islamic world because of their religion. It is a rising genocide that ought to provoke global alarm."
It is interesting to note that Ali is a professed atheist and international spokesperson for women's rights.

If there ever was a contrast in worldviews, it is with Christianity and Islam. One of the most striking differences is that Christianity teaches, practices and encourages charity. Islam does not. It is Christians from the U.S. who are doing the majority of the private charity and humanitarian work around the world. Just these past couple of weeks alone, I was reminded of several examples of this.

The first example is two young ladies from Saltillo, Mississippi - twin sisters Haleigh and Heather Moore - who are currently running across the country from Louisiana to California to raise money to dig water wells in Third World countries through World Vision. They are motivated by their belief that God wants them to care about other people in need.

The second example is my colleague Buddy Smith, who along with wife Carol, just returned from a week-long trip to Ecuador where they participated with Operation Christmas Child in distributing thousands of shoe boxes of supplies to children who have little or nothing and who are dependent on Christian missions organizations.

Since 1993, Samaritan's Purse (headed by Franklin Graham) has distributed in excess of 94 million shoe box gifts around the world … all in the name of Jesus Christ.

As an aside, you may remember that Franklin Graham, having seen firsthand the persecution of Christians by Muslims in the countries where he works, called Islam "evil" and "wicked."

A third example came to mind while I was at the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville in February, when the president of Gospel for Asia came up to me to thank me for the $153,314 that our radio network, American Family Radio, helped raise for them last fall—monies that were applied to buy all kinds of basic human needs for the "untouchables" in India.

American Family Association/American Family Radio has been participating in this project with Gospel for Asia for several years. Why do we care about the outcast people of India? Because in the Bible, Jesus instructs us to do so.

As far as I know, there is no such comparable work being done around the world by Islamic groups or organizations.

Religion, more than anything else, affects the values and morals of a culture, a society, a country.

NYC public school teaching mandatory Arabic..what do you think?

Fox News Blog
A public school in Manhattan will be the first in the city to require students to study Arabic. Students at PS-368 will be required to take 2 classes a week for 45 minutes each. The principal states that Arabic is "a critical-need language" and also believes that it will help the school obtain a prestigious International Baccalaureate standing.

So we want to know..what do you think? Is this a great idea and would you sign the permission slip? OR would you have a problem if your child's school started teaching mandatory Arabic lessons?

NYC Public School Mandates Arabic Language Studies for All 2nd Through 5th Graders

From The Blaze
PS 368, a public elementary school in Manhattan, New York, has implemented a school-wide mandate that is capturing headlines. Principal Nicky Kram Rosen is requiring all 200 students in grades second through fifth to spend two 45-minute sessions each week learning Arabic.

The requirement, which will begin next semester, is intended to help bolster the school’s standing. Rather than focusing on more common (some would argue even more useful) languages like French or Spanish, Rosen has chosen Arabic in an effort to achieve an International Baccalaureate, which would apparently be a wonderful sentiment for the school’s reputation.

“She proposed this to the parent association. They were very supportive,” explained Angela Jackson, the CEO of the Global Language Project, a group backing the initiative. “Arabic has been identified as a critical-need language. It means they can spin the globe and decide where they want to work and live.”
The program was created as a partnership between the Global Language Project and the Qatar Foundation International. Currently, children are participating in a pilot version of the class during their free afternoon periods. As far as potential objections to the program go, the school will need to focus on those incidents, should they become a problem, on an individualized basis.

The Arabic requirement becomes mandatory in September. But PS 368 is a so-called “choice’’ school and no kids, even those living nearby, are forced to attend it. If the school ever enrolls a student who objects to learning Arabic, administrators will deal with that on a case-by-case basis, Jackson said.

Mohamed Mamdouh, who teaches the pilot program, said, “Soon, Arabic will be a global language like French and Spanish. These kids are like sponges. It’s amazing to see their progress.’’

Mamdouh yesterday played a version of duck, duck, goose with the kids using the Arabic words for mother and father — mama and baba — for ducks and geese.

NY1 is reporting that teachers at the school also hope that, in addition to language skills, students gain a better understanding of the Middle East and Arab culture. So far, no opposition to the program has been reported.

Would YOU express opposition if it were your child?

Don’t you think it would be good for the little darlings to learn English language, rules and structures FIRST!!!!! Good grief, they can’t speak, read or write basic English…..(KAYDEEBEAU)

What’s really sad is that each of those little kids in the picture know more about their ethnic heritage than they know what it even means to be a good American. I’m this, your that! Be an American first! Learn English first! All cultures are not equal, all nations are not equal!

College Student Questions Obama's Funds

Female Obama Voter Questions President Obama's Funds while a Student

Where did the money come from?

Legitimate Questions

This election has me very worried. So many things to consider. I voted for Obama. McCain was a Washington insider and we don’t need any more of them. I have changed my mind three times, since then. I watch all the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my husband crazy. But, I feel if you view CNN, and Fox News, you might get some middle ground to work with. I started thinking "where does all the money come from for President Obama"? I have four daughters who went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We (including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. I started looking into Obama's history for my own peace of mind.

Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California . He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. "Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a "round the world" trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia , next Hyderabad in India , three weeks in Karachi , Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family.

My question - Where did he get the money for this trip? Neither I, nor any one of my children would have had money for a trip like this when they were in college. When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap to say the least. My girls asked me; where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe it’s none of my business?

After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York. By "chance" he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery several times in the past and in 2011. Rezko was named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association". About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans? His family has no money that’s for sure.

After Law school, he went back to Chicago. Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what I discovered? They represented "Rezar" which is Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he ran for office in Chicago . In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.

In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for this property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The LondonTimes reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Am I going nuts or is there a pattern here?

On May 10, 2008, The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out he was having regular contacts with "Hamas", which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he will "Take care of things". What the heck does that mean?

Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that were born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all those "small" Internet campaign contribution for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East?

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2009, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, "My Muslim faith". When questioned, "he made a mistake". Some mistake huh?

All of the above information I got on line. If you would like to check it - Wikipedia, encyclopedia, Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett: Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times - September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.

Now the BIG question - If I found out all this information on my own, Why haven't all of our "intelligent" members of the press been reporting this? These are legitimate questions for our president.
